Presented by Elsevier's STM journal division publisher, George Woodward, this workshop will enlighten you about the publication process, the role of publishers and editors and how authors can increase their chances of successful publication!
George Woodward, along with UC San Diego faculty editors, Anthony DeMaria, Immediate Past Editor of Journal of American College Cardiology, Founding Director of Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center at UC San Diego and Joanna McKittrick, Materials Science and Engineering, will be able to answer your publication questions.
Refreshments provided by Elsevier will also be served starting at 11:30 am.

Speaker Bio:
George Woodward is a Health & Medical Sciences publisher in Elsevier’s STM Journals division. His current portfolio includes the fields of nutrition and dermatology. Prior to Elsevier, George was Managing Editor for two leading publications in the area of allergy and clinical immunology. Throughout his career he’s worked with editors, reviewers, and authors to help move manuscripts from pre-submission through to final publication.
